Let Patience Have Her Perfect Work (James
1:3-4)(v3) Knowing
this, that the trying of your faith worketh
patience, (v4) but lt patience have her
perfect work, that ye may be perfect and
entire, wanting nothing.
(1) sometimes it may seem
like the Christian life is filled with
problems, because they come uninvited and
unexpected.
(2) How often we begin to
grumble and complain about our Troubles. If
we are not careful we will find ourselves
indulging in self-pity, or we can say that
God has allowed this trial to come to me. He
has some purpose in it for me.
(3) Don't rebel! Don't
faint! Rejoice! These problems are not our
enemy trying to destroy us. They will turn
out to be your Friend to aid us and to
develop Christian character and endurance.
You and I can't stop problems, troubles, or
trials from coming so we must let our trials
work for us.
(4) They will make us
better! As soon as the Refiner sees his
Reflection in the molten metal, he turns off
the heat!
(5) Remember, God's just
making room in your life for His purpose,
His will and His power.
(Psalm
18:19) He brought me forth also into a large
place; he delivered me, because he delighted
in me.
Sincerely,
His servant's servant
